Back in ancient times an old warrior griff is tasked with guiding a fledgling, when he finds himself facing a new foe that threatens the very existence of the Gryphon Kingdom.

Another fan-fiction, this one based on the flashbacks of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Season 5 Episode 8 “The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone”, so the ultimate outcome is fixed. The three chapters have each a different theme. The ending is a bit short, but I didn’t find a better way that fits to the characters.
